ACCOMPLISHING THE IMPOSSIBLE! =D


It's been a while..but in that time I've worked my booty off into getting into shape. Only a couple more months until summer and I plan on having a 6 pack. As of right now I'm working on a 3 day cleanse and a Turbo Fire / P90x Hybrid! Yes my own made up version of my favorite workouts!!

So here is my latest results!!!

Alright So here are my 30 Day Results. I've seen alot of change in my love handles, better toned legs & arms, flatter stomach, smoother contoured body overall!! =D Soooo excited!
Ps. Still have those stretch marks but hopefully they will dissapear with time. Having 2 kiddos definately took a HUGE toll on my body!

About the 20 day mark!

One more week until my first month of p90x is completed! Just thinking about only having 60 more days fills me with excitement and joy. I have already noticed BIG changes. The inside of my legs have a dip in them from where some fat has disappeared. My love handles have shrunk tremendously. My face feels a tad thinner. And I can feel my abs & arms becoming stronger. I also have noticed that one minor little problem area on me has disappeared. Underneath where my bras sits I always had this disgusting little roll from where extra fat accumulated. Yay to have that nasty little thing gone. I know at the end of this long road everything is going to be worth it! I want to have a sexy body for my husband. I want to have a healthy body for my children. I want to grow old with my family. I will also be comforted to know that it is possible to get a hott body even after having 2 kids close together.. I want to look better than the other 21 year olds out there. I also am excited that since I've had 2 kids I will have that curvy look. I've tried posting my before pictures on here but they just wouldn't post. I have no idea why.. But I will say that I can't bare to look at them without vomiting in my mouth. Fat Fat Fat everywhere I look. I can't stand it one bit. This is what has me so motivated to stay on this p90x journey. I want to be able to walk on these beautiful beaches here in Okinawa with a string bikini and a gorgeous body & a tan to go with it! ;)

Some days I feel like my whole life is all working out, cleaning, and taking care of kids. It can get quite boring sometimes to tell you the truth. But..I have to look at the future and the vacations that we will get to go on and how good mommy & daddy will look having 2 healthy little babies. I also think about my competition to all the other woman out there. Competition meaning the girls on Shape magazine. I want to be fit just like them..or maybe more fit then them!! I want my husband to look at me like I'm a goddess straight out of an ESPN magazine. I want people to look at me and think " Man that girl has worked pretty hard" "Wow. She's gorgeous." or something like "DAMMNNNN, her husband is the luckiest guy in the world!"

So let me explain a couple things about my diet.
I have splurged a couple times this month. Only because they were special events like a birthday party and hanging out with friends. Which is completely ok! I promise you your not going to gain 10lbs just by eating a piece of chocolate pie. Now..I do try and stay healthy but one thing I can't let go is Coke Zero. It's probably not good for you considering it doesn't have any calories or carbs.. so that leaves me the question "What the heck is in it". Well to be honest. I dont want to know. So we will leave it at "I will drink coke zero and I dont care".
As for snacks I've been really loving the Roasted Vegetable Ritz crackers with a mini cheese wedge.
Also a good meal replacement are the protein power bars. My favorites are the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Brownie.
Also for lunch I've been eating alot of the Tyson Grilled Chicken. Yummy! It taste just like it does on the grill!
I've been eating regular dinners. It's really hard for the dinner part..only because really we need to eat a small portion and I like to sleep on a full stomach. Which is a VERY BAD THING.
Well that's about all I want to say for today. I need to start my workout now...BRING IT!

Ps. My weight is now 134. . I know I've melted fat but I also have gained a considerable amount of muscle. =]

Day one.

So after taking our pictures let's just say that i'm kind of saddened to see what my body is now. I have to keep myself motivated though and these pictures will be perfect motivation! I have problem areas just about everywhere and I'm hoping to see these dissipate soon! Well here are the stats..

Laurel
thighs- 22 3/4 inches.
waist- 31 3/4 inches.
hips- 36 inches.
arms- 12 1/4 inches.
upper waist- 31 1/4 inches.
Currently 136lbs.

Josh
thighs- 25 inches
waist-37 inches.
hips- 37 1/2 inches.
arms- 14 1/2 inches.
upper waist- 37 inches.
chest- 40 inches.

The intro. of a new way of life!



It's hard being 21 and having a mommy body. Most of my friends are endulging on twinkies & fast food maintaining these skinny frames while anything I seem to eat goes straight to the belly, and love handles. I'm constantly bashing myself and having to remind myself that I HAVE HAD 2 BEAUTIFUL KIDS. Landon's 2nd birthday will be august 1st and Calianna's first birthday will be September 26th. You can see that we have waisted no time in jumping into the family life but it wasn't by choice! And I wouldn't give them up for anything because they are both amazing little babies and I love them with all my heart. I want to be fit not only for myself but for them and my amazing hubby. Speaking of my handsome husband he is also joining me on my p90x adventure. He wants to have the amazing ripped body just as much as I do..but a more manly version ;] Im going to be going through this crazy body transformation and I want you guys to watch me! This is probably going to be one of the hardest things in my life (well aside from child birth) and I'm going to push my self to accomplish this! I'm going to attain that beautiful, lean, strong body that I've always wanted.

About the program:

I'm going to be doing the p90x lean version while my husband is doing the classic version.
For breakfast I will be eating one special K bar. [90 calories] These are awesome and fill you up!
I'm also going to be drinking a protein drink after each workout everyday which will also substitute for my lunch since we will be working out near lunchtime.
This is the recipe for my delicious protein drink that I will be making EVERY DAY for 90 days.

-Chocolat'ey' Protein Shake
1 cup of chocolate soy milk
1 cup of strawberries
1 banana
1/2 cup of ice
6 almonds
2 scoops of EAS chocolate protein

About 3 hours after my workout I will be eating about 7 grilled chicken strips (100 calories and lots of protein).

And around dinner time I will be eating whatever but limiting myself on portions. If it has alot of carbs im going to limit myself less! If it has alot of chicken or fish..I will be eating more!


Not only is this just a diet and workout program..this is going to be a new way of life.
I will be taking my before pictures tomorrow with my husband. I will post our pictures up ASAP along with our weights, and Body Fat %. I can't wait to get the results! The workouts are hard..but Tony pushes you do overcome what you think you can do! I can't even do a pullup without a chair..so I'm hoping that I will be able to do at least one before my first phase (30 days).
